STERKA – THE TRADE UNION WITH A CLEAR VISION OF THE FUTURE
Since 2015, the naming process of ST has called for meetings, discussions, new ideas and thoughts from the members. Together with Skriptor, hundreds of names led to one final destination with great potential: Sterka.
Britta Lejon, the chairperson of ST, was specific with bringing forth their true core, as ST is both unclear and ambiguous as to what they do. Often mistaken for SD, the Sweden Democrats, ST has never worked as intended since its name change, in 2003. Sterka is originally a spelling from the Old Swedish, and connects the dots between ST and its ideology – a trade union that strengthens the members working environment and conditions, as well as the Swedish democracy.
So after two years, Skriptor Zigila is pleased to present a name that will lead ST closer to its vision of a stronger unity!
