Papira® by Stora Enso is the new green alternative to today’s foams. A lightweight, wood fibre-based cellulose foam that has been developed to create a new biodegradable alternative. It is currently mainly suitable for packaging, intending to be used in more areas in the future, including insulation of heat/sound.
The group worked proactively during the project. We quickly felt that this was project was close to their hearts, being able to contribute to a better future. The product’s personality was described as future, sustainable, circular, green, paper, and natural. Its exterior was described as design, stylish and exclusive. Disruptive innovation, a paradigm shift. As usual, we started broad and then worked our way through them. When we finally reached a manageable number of suggestions, more names could be created within the desired line.
What once started as a startup has now developed into innovation with a global impact. Papira® by Stora Enso is the result of great commitment and a vision for the future. We are happy for Stora Enso’s engagement in the climate and wish them all the best in the future with continued work. In another project with Stora Enso, we developed the name FuraCore® .
